Apartment Hunting, More Like Apartment Torture!

Hello loved ones, and a special hello to my beautiful mother who I miss dearly today,

Mike and I have been busy trying to find a nice apartment to move into. We are not having great luck. I've seen some real dumps this week! They are about 500-650 sq ft on average, and the price tag aint cheap! We have an appointment to see what we think is the most promising candidate on Friday. Here are some photos of the building and the apt:

These aren't the best pictures, but you get an idea. Small and expensive!

Yesterday I saw two places. One was 500 sq ft, and when I was finished with my tour, the real estate woman told me it was rented. Uhm... thanks for wasting my time! The second apartment I saw was okay, but the neighborhood was boring. And the bathroom was kind of gross. And it had no windows. And the rooms were a diamond shape. I feel like I'm in college again.
Here are some photos of that place:

I'm going to see another apartment today, and the promising one plus another one tomorrow. Wish us luck!

On another note, it rained all day yesterday, but it wasn't too bad. Here are some photos we took from around the city:
