Good Morning Friends!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Yesterday was a good day. I went to my first Bar Method class (dang that class is hard!), Mike and I opened our first Canadian bank account, and we had dinner at a local Izakaya restaurant called Guu. Guu is basically a tiny room filled with a bunch of Asians screaming - it was awesome.
We ordered some unique dishes just to try, and they did not disappoint.
Mike found a place called Gorilla Food for me. Its a raw vegan restaurant, totally up my alley. They make fresh green cold pressed juices - my favorite! I'll be there on the regular for sure.
By the way, one of the best parts about Vancouver is their version of "light gardening", which is planting tulips on the side of the roads. Tulips! Beautiful!!

This week Mike and I are trying to find an apartment. This task is much harder than I anticipated. There are hardly any apartments available, and all the apartments downtown are about 600-700 sq ft. Uhm... bummer! Send us good apartment vibes please.

I'm off to class now. Missing everyone terribly, and love you all.

p.s. Mike's work gave us a cell phone for one month only that can make unlimited calls to the US. If you'd like to talk to us, send us an email when to call you and we will.

  1. Cuban Stogies, NICE!! I see Medicine too, can you get Vicoden and the such OTC? How about weed, is it everywhere?

How about the West End of downtown? Or perhaps Kitsilano? I've heard many places have utils, even basic cable included in rent, try to find one, it'll save you a few hundred a month.

You may notice that food and booze is getting very pricey, I have 3 workds....Balony, Cheese, Weed.
